Plywood folding seat
The environmentally friendly plywood seat is designed to provide comfort, durability and reliable performance in any hall or grandstand. Its strong construction and carefully selected materials ensure suitability for both intensive public use and demanding premium environments. Thought‑out ergonomics and refined finishing make this solution a combination of comfort, reliability and aesthetics.
The backrest and seat are made from beech or birch plywood with an ergonomic, profiled shape that supports the body’s natural posture. The outer surfaces of the seat and backrest are coated with a clear lacquer, protecting the material from wear and giving it a clean, professional finish.
The seat‑lifting mechanism operates on gravity: when the rear part of the seat is loaded, the seat rises automatically. The mechanism uses a robust pendulum structure that moves on Teflon bushings, ensuring quiet, smooth and maintenance‑free operation even under intensive use. This makes the solution ideal for environments where silent movement and long service life are essential.
- The supporting steel structure of the chair is made from tube profiles with a cross‑section of 50 × 30 × 0.2 mm.
- The axial spacing of the legs is 500–550 mm.
- The structure can be manufactured either as a floor‑standing version or as a suspended wall‑mounted solution.
- All metal components are coated with powder paint, with colour options available according to the RAL colour chart.
